Insert and Manage a Discussion Board

1. Insert a discussion board from the Activity Editor's sidebar

• Click the "+" button 

• Drag and drop the "Discussion" block into the activity 

• Enter a title for your discussion by typing it in the text box

• Enter a description for your discussion by typing it in the text box 

• Use the discussion board's toolbar to format text and insert elements, such as emojis, image blocks, embed blocks, YouTube blocks, links, tables, and dividers

• Click "Start discussion"

• Type your response in the text box, and click "Send"

• To view discussion posts, click "Message"

• Click the pencil icon to edit a message
• Click the trash can icon to delete a message

• React to a discussion post by clicking the emoticon 

• Select an emoji to react with

• Click "Reply" to respond to a previously posted message

• Type your reply in the text box

• Click "Send"

• Replies will display under the original message

• Click "Message" to collapse discussion posts and replies

2. Insert a discussion board from the Activity Editor's toolbar

• Click the "+" button 

• Select "Discussion" from the dropdown list

3. Insert a discussion board with the "/" function 

• Type "/discussion"
• Click "Discussion"
