In this guide, we will show you two ways to share courses with existing groups or individual users.
How to Share a Course?
1. Share from the Course sidebar
- Navigate to a Course, and click "People" in the left sidebar
- Click "Share"
- Click the "Share with Group" dropdown arrow, and select an existing group
- To share with individual users, click the "Add emails" box to expand the dropdown list
- Click the checkbox next to the user(s) you want to share with
- Click the dropdown arrow to assign a "Role" to the user
- Note: If one person needs to be assigned multiple roles, invite them separately for each role
- Click "Share"
- The toast message, "Course shared successfully" will appear
2. Share from the Course Homepage
- From the Course Homepage, click "Share"
- The "Share Course" modal will populate
- If the "Course visibility" dropdown is set to "Public", anyone, even those outside your campus, will be able to view this course with access to the QR code or the link
- Click the dropdown menu to switch the "Course visibility" to "Private", where only invited participants can view the shared course
